The results of the Pendle September dividend are out.
I voted with two accounts, one ranked 25th, the other 39th, which is mediocre.
September profit amount: 4600 USDT
In August, I got 4000 UST; in July it was 5000 USDT.
↳↳ Monthly returns are stable.
✅ At the current coin price, the APY is around 45% 🔥

Like Kaito and Pendle reward "long-term" community supporters.
Many people will ask why not adopt a "buyback"... for example: Aave or Fluid mechanisms.
It's simple and doesn't require long-term forced locking.
My thoughts are:
1. Pendle and Kaito still have buyback mechanisms (one is indirect, the other is irregular).
2. Rewards are given to the "most loyal" community members who dare to lock for the long term, rather than equal treatment for all.
3. Those who dare to lock with Kaito have been able to reap huge rewards recently; how can we maximize rewards for loyal communities using buybacks!?
4. vePendle has introduced voting mechanics, making it even more fun and interesting.
5. Some people will catch the buyback patterns, layout before the buyback, and dump after the buyback, which is also hard to be completely fair.
Undeniably, long-term locking reduces the efficiency of capital usage and may even stifle the potential for larger capital inflows, but in terms of rewarding loyal communities, I still prefer locking.
✅ If every project adopted buybacks, how boring would that be..... DeFi wouldn't be fun....

Monthly Pendle lottery day
🎁 This month's reward is about 4000u; annualized to 2.3%, APR 28%
This time the voting strategy wasn't good, resulting in a lower reward than last time.
I should have just mindlessly voted for these two popular projects, Ethena/Falcon 🥲
——————
↳↳ But do you think Pendle only has an annualized APR of 28%? Is that all?
No, there’s a big trick: Mega Drop airdrop.
Last December, there was a Mega Drop airdrop totaling $6.9M.
#我記得也是好幾千u
According to V @ViNc2453,
In Q4, $ENA + $FF is estimated to have a $16.5M Mega airdrop for vePendle holders!!
Reasons for the Mega Drop
Pendle's YT takes a 5% cut, which is converted into $ENA and $FF tokens airdropped to vePendle/ePendle/mPendle holders.
——————
↳↳ Do you think there’s only the Mega Drop?
No, did you know....
Hyperliquid has quite a few ecosystem projects listed on Pendle, with astonishing trading volume.
In future airdrops, vePendle holders can also get a share... this..🤔

[#Studying River and Coin Terminology!]
📌 LP / YT ??
As someone who has mainly focused on chart study and trading, I wasn't familiar with terms like LP or YT.
(Although both involve entrusting money to receive interest, the concepts are different)
I didn't immediately understand what YT meant in the collaboration with Pendle below... There are probably many people like me who have only approached it casually.
👉🏻(To summarize briefly) LP is the concept of lending money to an exchange and receiving fees, while YT is the concept of buying and selling rights to interest income after depositing money.
1️⃣ LP ??
= Liquidity Pool
- Providing assets to a liquidity pool
: In simple terms, it's like "putting two types of money in a bank and earning exchange fees."
Example) If you deposit satUSD and USDT together, the exchange uses that money when people exchange it. Then, every time a transaction occurs at the exchange, fees are generated, and you receive a portion of those fees.
* A point to note here is that if the coin prices fluctuate rapidly, the coins will automatically swap with each other, which can lead to impermanent loss (IL) if prices are unstable.
* Mainly on platforms like PancakeSwap, Uniswap, etc.
2️⃣ YT ??
= Yield Token
- Tokenizing only the interest income of a specific token.
* Mainly conducted on platforms like Pendle
: Normally, when you just deposit coins, you earn interest, but Pendle splits that deposit into two parts.
1) PT (Principle Token) = Principal part
= Usually purchased at a discounted rate, where the principal is guaranteed even if the interest is low (feels like a fixed-rate bond).
2) YT (Yield Token) = Interest part
= The interest amount is uncertain, but the income can vary depending on the interest rate.
Example) When you deposit satUSD, you earn interest, and you buy and sell the rights to receive interest from YT.
* PT is for those seeking stability, while YT feels like betting on rising interest (trading), and there is also a neutral structure where you hold both PT + YT.
